Mark Zuckerberg confirmed to CNN
that Facebook will be shutting down for one day on April 15 to protest the IRS' requirement that Facebook pay taxes. "Facebook is the future- Facebook is the omega and the epsilon" an unusually animated Zuckerberg said on CNN's American Morning news style show. "At Facebook we are the internet, we are the trendsetters. We do what our users want- no one want's to pay taxes. When I look at the group "I love taxes" I see 0 "likes"; therefore, out of respect to our users- who encompass every many woman, dog, sitcom, and poorly conceived marketing attempt- we will not be paying our taxes this April 15. Instead we will be shutting down. Lets see how well the IRS operates when it's agents are unable to use their Facebook Mail to communicate, or how easily the government can keep out the Visigoths when all their profile pictures disappear for just one day. Facebook is all might and all should kneel before it!" Zuckerberg then proved just how internety he was by placing a cat with a waffle on its head on the lap of his interviewer before storming off while screaming "Your argument is invalid!"
The world is expected to not be effected by the outage- except for grand parents, parents, marketers, and CNN who will have nothing to report on since all they do is report on social media.
Facebook- who knew Skynet would end up being something so stupid?
