A new article in the Journal of the American Doctor suggests controversy about abortion might come to an end in the near future. Scientists working at elite New England schools have isolated a gene, that when turned on causes miscarriages. Harvard Medical School’s Albert Ross Md. PhD explains “If a pregnancy needs to be terminated due to complication, personal choice, or the results of a genetic analysis on the embryo, we would simply administer a trace amount of chemical to induce miscarriage.” In layman’s terms, this discovery means everyone is literally a supporter of abortion.

The breakthrough discovery paves the way for many further advances in genetic research. Many scientist agree that much like the PC allowed normal everyday Americans to book their own airline tickets genetic research is going to allow Americans to perform many of the services that currently require a trip to a doctor in their own home. Ross notes that "at home termination of an undesired or unplanned pregnancy is right around the corner." The scientists working on the project are said to be working next on a genetic research to allow selective abortion of embryos predisposed to be religious.

The discovery is sure to anger many opponents of women’s rights. The Catholic Church, Southern Baptists, Focus on the Family, and the Taliban issued a joint statement calling for “Death to all who support the murder of young babies and decadent over sexualized lifestyle of the American Teenager.” Many television shows, including ABC Family’s hit drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager plan to air episodes showing how awesome it is to get pregnant and have an abortion.
